About me

I am a wife and mom of 2 incredible little boys.  I am an ex special education teacher and have an associates degree in culinary arts.  When my husband and I got married we agreed that I would stay home with our kids so after my first son was born that is what I did.  I was so happy and loved being a mother.  I was meeting new people, took my son to group music and Gymboree classes, I met friends at the museum and the aquarium, I was living the stay at home life.

After my second son was born something changed.  I didn't feel as fulfilled being a SAHM as I did with my first.  I was trying to keep up with the Jones's and was so wrapped caring for my boys that I had forgotten my own happiness.  I still had baby weight to loose and I had fallen in a slump of slight depression.  I blamed my funk on the baby weight and searched for a solution.

I reached out to a friend who was running online accountability groups.  I joined without hesitation desperate to do something for myself.   After just 3 weeks I had lost 9lbs. and 12 inches and was fitting into my old jeans.  But more importantly were the changes that I had adopted in those 3 weeks.  What I found along the way was a lifestyle that not only allowed me to focus on me, but allowed me to see that by bettering myself I was becoming a better wife and mother to my family.  I have more energy, I am more positive, more confident, and have become a better version of myself.  I am truly thankful for the life that his journey has given me and the opportunity to share it with all of you!

“Your life does not get better by chance, it gets better by change.”

— Jim Rohn

How blessed I am to have the opportunity to not only stay home with my boys, but to have found an opportunity that combines my 2 loves.  Helping others set goals, map them out, encourage and motivate them daily to achieve them and share my love and passion of food.  This journey has brought me back into the kitchen cooking again and allowing myself to experiment with whole, clean food, sharing recipes and revamping old ones to be healthier.

I am so grateful to have found a career that rewards me daily with helping others, being recognized by my peers, rewarded with monthly prizes and trips to Nashville and Punta Cana.  The best reward of this amazing journey is the change that I have made not only for myself but for my family.
